On September 16, E. Wyman Morriss, MD, was installed as Academy President during the installation portion of the this year's 164th Annual Meeting. The entire 2020-2021 Council was also sworn in that evening. Additionally, the Academy Foundation announced the recipient of this year's medical student scholarship, Molly O'Shea.

 

Along with the installation ceremonies on September 16, the Academy hosted an update on COVID-19. Thanks to our local infectious disease specialists who presented the COVID-19 webinar segment of the meeting – Stephen Blatt, MD, TriHealth; Thomas Lamarre, Jr., MD, The Christ Hospital; Dheeraj Goyal, MD, Mercy Fairfield Hospital; and Lisa Haglund, MD, University of Cincinnati.
