Not-for-Profit professional association that advocates for and serves physicians of Greater Cincinnati.
A cornerstone of The Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati's mission is bringing physicians together. And over the past few months, physicians have come together to enjoy our Annual Golf Outing, 50 Year Physician Awards, and our monthly "Academy After Hours" happy hours. It's been wonderful to see the camaraderie.
But with time being perhaps a physician's most limited resource, The Academy works to convene physicians for collective purpose beyond events and socials. In today's Academy News Brief read more on how, including:
- Protecting physician privacy and safety through passage of legislation limiting your personal data available to the public
- Addressing gaps in accessing courses to meet new DEA requirements through creation of virtual CME programs.
- New projects launched by our committees: Advocacy, Community Outreach, Physician Wellbeing, and Communications, aimed to address issues important to all physicians.
The Academy of Medicine is the only local organization that reaches across systems, organizations, and specialties to serve the needs of all Cincinnati physicians.
This latest edition of our News Brief has been shared as a complimentary communication to all area physicians. As we approach 2024, we hope to demonstrate to you the importance of membership in our Academy community. We welcome you to join and strengthen our collective voice on behalf of all Cincinnati physicians.
